…Until life as we know it is changed forever – when we finally get to see in person the cute little baby God has given us. Yep, that’s right, we’re pregnant!
Just this morning we got to see via ultrasound the little guy squirming around and kicking. And we found out that I’m further along than we thought – 13 weeks now! So, 1 trimester down and 2 to go!
We’re thankful that everyone is healthy and that the baby seems to be growing faster than me. 🙂
Because of some health concerns (a mild congenital heart defect) and this being our first baby, we’ve decided to head back to the States for the delivery. So, we are planning to return in April (in time for Easter!) and come back to Zambia the end of July, with the big day coming sometime around June 10th.

Oh my goodness Kristen. Awesome!!! When I first looked at the picture I thought, “AHHHHH, TWINS.” But then I remembered you probably only have one uterus – and got my senses back. So excited for you! I had so many reservations before we came back from home assignment about how I was going to raise my kids here. But, let me tell you – it’s awesome! They are totally thriving. You are going to love raising your kids in Zambia! Can’t wait to watch your belly grow! Love you!
