Pictures from Teaching in Sinazongwe

Kristin and I had a great time down in Sinazongwe helping teach a condensed version of the C.R.O.S.S. curriculum at the Komena Pastor’s College. This is the third time that the C.R.O.S.S. Project curriculum has been presented at the college, and each time it seems that the pastors of the Tonga Valley are understanding more about HIV/AIDS in general and about how to apply the Bible to HIV/AIDS issues. This group was by far the most receptive we have had down there to the material and tackling sensitive cultural issues, like stigma related to HIV/AIDS, domestic abuse, and reaching out to people that are HIV positive.

We also had a great time of fellowship with John and Eta and the Singletons (all AZ teammates) and spending time with the two South African families that run the mission base and college. We also had a great time celebrating Kristin’s 30th Birthday!!
