A couple weeks ago, we posted a story about $3,000 that got stolen from an embroidery shop around the corner from us. The owner had brought a witch doctor in and made all the workers drink a potion to determine who was the culprit.
We later found out that the police came and arrested the witch doctor for “practicing without a license” and then severely beat him. In the end, I don’t know if they actually caught the thief or not. But there’s a taste for how justice works here.
