I was reminded of “dog and cat theology” this morning when I read my Bible. If you’ve never heard of this theology, here is an example…
Dog: “You feed me, you pet me, you play with me, you love me. You must be God.”
Cat: “You feed me, you pet me, you play with me, you love me. I must be God.”
Psalm 40:5 says, “You have multiplied, O Lord my God, you wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with YOU!” Oh, for a more God-centered theology and way of life.
Just for fun, here is a rare photo from the past. And yes, that is ME holding a dog (for all of you who know my aversion to animals).
