Birds and Bees, Clouds and Trees

This actually has nothing to do with the birds and the bees, so you can breathe a sigh of relief! But a couple weeks ago, Derek and I went for a little hike at the historic Fort Snelling with its surrounding nature preserve. On the way, I saw this amazing cloud!
Psalm 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.”

And then we saw some humongous trees throughout the walking trails – here is one of them with Derek standing in front to give a little perspective. No, we don’t have Redwoods here in the Midwest, but we have Cottonwoods!
